We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. Payment for orders placed is processed by PayFast – a widely used, secure and reputable payment gateway. After completing your address details and checking the T&C’s box, you need to click the “PLACE ORDER” button. You will be redirected to the PayFast website to complete your payment which you can do using either a credit or cheque card. Once the payment is completed, you will be redirected back to the Zizamele website. Once we have been notified about your payment and your order is ready, it will be dispatched to you.

Some items are kept in stock and can be sent quicker than an item that needs to be made. National orders can be sent within a week of receiving the order and international orders will take up to 14 days to be sent. In some instances we have to get international quotes which takes time. However we will update you during the entire process. A little while is worth waiting for such unique items!
We use The Courier Guy for national deliveries. They offer an ECO service which is very affordable and they can also do overnight to JHB/Durban/PE for urgent deliveries. This service is obviously more expensive.
We most certainly do! Just recently we have sent to places as far afield as Mocambique and The Cayman Islands. We use Fedex, DHL, Aramex and the SA Post Office for international shipping depending on reputation and cost.
We do not offer refunds but in the event that you would rather not receive the re-made item, we can offer a credit note for the value of the original product.
Zizamele will re-make any item that is reported broken within 24 hours of its arrival. Photos should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or whatsapp them to: +27845566423.
Fedex parcels offer inclusive insurance but in order to get a payout, you need to report the breakage within 24 hours of the parcel arriving at your address. You will also need to send photographs of the broken item to: email@example.com or whatsapp them to: +27845566423. Zizamele will then put in a claim and will keep you updated as to the progress of the claim.
All our ceramics are lovingly handmade and as such some variance is possible.This is part of their beauty – seeing the hand of the creator in the product!

All Please do not put our ceramics in the dishwasher. Dust them carefully and if you have to, wash them with gentle soap, taking care not to knock the “ladies” against the taps or sides of the basin.
We are trying to use as little plastic as possible and have recently changed to Honeycomb Cardboard crates which are totally recyclable. These boxes are charged at the following rates:
R250 Small (43 x 43 x 26cms)
R300 Medium (45 x 45 x 28)
R350 Large (48 x 48 x 31)
If we ship your goods with DHL, they offer free outer boxes which are sturdy and strong.
All countries charge different tariffs, however our category of goods should not attract any taxes as they are DECORATIVE and not functional ceramics. We also have the EUR1 Certificate and AGOA with USA which allow zero duties. VAT, however will be for the client’s account. Our HS Code is: 6913.90.90.00.10 if you wish to check beforehand.
