This darling little bowl is the smallest in our range and makes the perfect hostess gift. Pair it with chocolates, nuts or soap or simply gift it to yourself.
Each of these bowls is wheel thrown from stoneware clay with skill and care. The bowl’s angel wears her traditional headscarf typical African fashion.
Decorated by our artist in vibrant indigo patterns, we see this as Africa’s contribution to the Wedgeware tradition, Swedish ceramics and of course the porcelain of the East. This colourway will enhance your decor, be it in the boardroom, reception area of a lodge or boutique hotel, or your own home.

“UMUNTU ngumuntu ngabantu”
It is a complex Nguni word that means “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity.”
“I am what I am because of who we all are.”
In Africa, the definition of an individual is community-based and not individualist. Zizamele’s Ubuntu pieces represent this philosophy.
