They wear their African headscarves and carry their babies tied to their backs in traditional fashion. The geometric African patterns are hand-painted using white and metallic glazes.

Discovered these beautiful ceramics 3 years ago while vacationing in Capetown SA. Recently needed to send a gift to friends in Joburg and remembered these whimsical ceramics. I contacted Toni at Zizamele and she could not have been more helpful. With her assistance a note was included and it was boxed, packaged and sent.
Arrived this week safe and secure the recipients of this gift commented on how well it was packaged. My friends loved the piece .
