Spend time in our studio at Unit 12 Lekkerwater Industrial Park, Lekkerwater Road, Cape Town South Peninsula, Cape Town, 7975 where you will discover how wonderfully therapeutic and fun making ceramics can be while we guide you to make an item of your very own. No previous experience necessary.

This was such an amazing experience. Loved every bit of it. We got exposure to different pottery techniques. Toni is very knowledgeable and friendly which adds to the beauty of the experience. Thank you for a lovely time.
Examples of things you can make are: hand-formed containers shaped like animals; pinch pot birds; slab-,thrown planters, moulded soap dishes, vases and for the more confident, a wheel thrown mug or cup.
Classes are held on Thursdays, 10.30 to 12.30 but other days can be organised by arrangement. The cost is R350 per person from 10.30 – 12.30 excludes coffee (but there is a great coffee bar nearby), and includes all tuition, materials and the glaze firing.

Wow, what a lovely morning getting our hands “dirty” while letting the creative juices flow and playing with the clay. Toni is just lovely, a great teacher and we really enjoyed getting to know her. Her staff are just the most amazing artisans and it was so special to see them at their craft. We will be back!!!!
All participants are entitled to a 10% discount of any items purchased at the Studio on the day of their class.
Your fired items will be ready one week after the class and can be collected from the studio or our shop at The Waterfront.
Open hours there are 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week. If you live far away then the items can be couriered to you at your own cost.

It was such a therapeutic experience, my siblings and I had an amazing time, we had great laughs. Toni was an amazing teacher, patient and didn’t mind repeating steps. Would definitely take this as a hobby!
