Rhino handle mug

Each of these colourful mugs is wheel-thrown from stoneware clay with skill and care. The bright glazes are painted in beautiful African patterns, and the mug's handle is a hand-formed rhino. As one of The Big Five, Rhinos are an important part in Africa’s culture and identity. The Rhino is one of the largest and strongest land mammals. Illustrations of these incredible animals can be found in the ancient bushman paintings throughout Southern Africa.   Rhino's are associated with peace, confidence, steadiness, and sure-footedness.
